Amy's Winter Bridal Session
This collaboration was only possible because there are some incredibly talented lady designers and creators in St. Louis! We braved the cold, nearly froze our fingers off, stopped a lot of traffic in downtown Clayton and created some beautiful images.
The bridal bouquets were provided by Bloomin' Buckets, owned by Barb, who is literally the sweetest and if any of you 2018 brides are looking for a florist for your day, please consider her!
I also wanted a showcase a local jeweler and just so happened to stumble upon Megan at Ruth Ryan Jewelry. Her vision and pieces fit perfectly with the timeless, simple and adventurous mood board we had put together. Plus I love collaborating with other women who are just doing what they love! And that is Megan!
I knew I wanted some antique pieces of furniture to add a vintage, mature aesthetic to our shoot. After not having a lot of luck with the particular pieces I was looking for, I found a diamond in the rough: The Antiquarian! Guys, these two sisters, Ashley and Brittney, just started this rental company, and have THE CUTEST and DREAMIEST antique rentals from decor to furntiure. The side table, chair, and awesome stack of books were just what I was looking for to add a touch of sophistication and old world charm. Please, please, PLEASE take a peak at what they have to offer! I just absolutely love what they are bringing to the St. Louis wedding and event world!
Finally, for this particular shoot, not only were we braving the cold weather, I also wanted to find just the right shawl or cover for my bride. That search led me to the amazing designs by VICTROLAdesigns. The luxe craftsmanship and beautiful velvet used by Lauren to create the kimono we used for this shoot is just perfection. You can find her designs at OSO: style lab in University City or her Etsy page. The kimono was the perfect addition to bring some edginess and uniqueness to Amy's gown.
Our model was the beautiful Amy, who is also a professional hair and makeup artist at The Bend in Webster. She is amazing at her craft and, in my humble opinion, should really take up modeling as well!
All in all, these women came together to make this happen and deserve all the support in the world!
